Who can join Beta Phoenix?
Any TikTok Live creator can join as a player. You need an active TikTok account to register. Visit our Join page to get started.
Is Beta Phoenix free to join?
Yes, joining Beta Phoenix as a player is completely free. There are no fees to register or participate in tournaments.
Tournaments
How do tournaments work?
Tournaments are bracket-style competitions between TikTok Live creators. Players are invited by their MCN leaders, matched in head-to-head battles, and scored by judges based on criteria defined in each tournament's rulebook. Winners advance through rounds until a champion is crowned.
How are matches scored?
Matches are scored by appointed judges using criteria defined in the tournament's rulebook. Scoring can be simple (overall score) or criteria-based (multiple categories like entertainment value, audience engagement, creativity, etc.). Each criterion has a max score and optional weight.
Can I watch tournament matches?
Yes! Tournament brackets, match details, and results are publicly visible on the Tournaments page. Live matches can be watched directly on TikTok.

How do I register as a player?
Visit the Join page and fill out the registration form with your TikTok handle and basic info. You'll go through a verification process to confirm your TikTok account.
How does TikTok verification work?
After registering, you'll go through a verification process where we confirm you own the TikTok account you registered with. This involves a code-based verification through TikTok DMs.
How do I get into a tournament?
Players are invited to tournaments by their MCN leaders. Once invited, you'll receive a notification and can confirm your participation. Wildcard spots may also be available for unaffiliated players.

What is an MCN?
A Multi-Channel Network (MCN) is a team or agency that manages and supports TikTok Live creators. MCN leaders recruit players, manage rosters, and enter their players into tournaments.
How do I apply to become an MCN partner?
Visit the Partner with Us page and complete the multi-step application. We review all applications and will reach out if your network is a good fit.
What do MCN leaders do?
MCN leaders manage their network's player roster, create and manage tournaments, send tournament invitations to their players, and recruit new talent through invite links or wildcard recruitment.
